We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Packer / General Operative to join our friendly and growing team. The role focuses on preparing products for shipment by packing, sealing, labelling, and dispatching orders accurately and on time. This is a practical, physical role within a manufacturing and dispatch environment. You will take pride in the quality of your work, understanding that every order reflects our standards and directly impacts customer satisfaction. You'll work as part of a close-knit team to ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped safely, accurately, and efficiently. This role suits someone who enjoys practical work, values teamwork, and takes ownership of doing things properly. Key responsibilities: Packing and Assembly Assemble, pack, and seal products into boxes, cartons, or bags in line with specifications and instructions. Ensure all items are packed securely, accurately labelled, and ready for dispatch. Dispatch and Handling Organise packed orders in courier bays and assist with collections from multiple couriers. Load and unload deliveries, move pallets, and manage packing materials safely. Systems and Accuracy Use the company computer system to process and dispatch orders accurately. Maintain attention to detail to ensure correct items, quantities, and documentation. Equipment and Workspace Assist with basic operation of packing machinery and report any issues or defects. Keep work areas clean, tidy, and organised, following housekeeping and safety standards. Teamwork and Support Work collaboratively with the team and coordinator to meet daily targets. Support other areas of the operation when required (training provided). Health and Safety Follow all health, safety, and company procedures at all times. Work safely when handling materials, equipment, and manual loads. Requirements, Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience in a packing, warehouse, manufacturing, or similar environment is desirable. Ability to carry out manual work, including lifting and moving heavier items. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Forklift licence would be an advantage but is not essential. Desired skills: Positive attitude - Approaches tasks with a practical, can-do mindset.
