Radley Green is working with a fas-growth Fire and Security Alarms business to recruit their new Field Operations Manager.
This is a key role in the growth of the business and will play a pivotal role in leading the team of 15-20 installation engineers and mentoring service & maintenance engineers. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of service that the business is known for and in driving the successful delivery of our installation projects, whilst upholding the standard of the maintenance and fault call delivery.
This role will be 3 days a week based in the Leicester head office and 2 out in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation management
* Plan engineers’ diaries to maximise utilisation - 15-20 engineers at present.
* Track installation delivery against quotation to ensure margins are maintained.
* Source and organise equipment for engineers to carry out installation projects.
* Liaise directly with customers to book in installation work.
Technical support
* Act as the go-to person for engineers who encounter technical challenges.
* Participate in key client meetings if required and offer technical expertise.
* Ensuring NSI technical compliance.
Recruitment and training
1. Source, interview and select prospective engineer candidates.
