Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias

Role Purpose
The Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias will support the safe and efficient operation of site machinery and equipment. The role will involve planned preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns, fault finding, and assisting with continuous improvement activities to maximise operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding on plant and machinery
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
Replace and maintain mechanical components including bearings and gears
Maintain and repair a variety of industrial machinery and equipment
Respond to breakdowns and minimise production downtime
Work independently and manage maintenance tasks through to completion
Follow all Health & Safety procedures and site standards
Assist with contractor coordination when required
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience within an electrical maintenance engineering role in an industrial or manufacturing environment
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification preferred
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
Flexible and proactive approach to maintenance activities

Monday to Friday - Days Shift

Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience
