Year 3 SEND T.A - Crook
The Education Network is currently looking to recruit a teaching assistant for one of our partner schools in Crook. The position is full time based in Year 3 supporting a child with additional needs in the morning and general classroom support in the afternoon.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide classroom support and promote good behaviour and positive values at all times.
* Support a child with additional needs and manage challenging behaviour using strong de‑escalation techniques.
* Work one‑on‑one or in small group settings with children who have additional needs.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience working with children with additional needs (one‑on‑one or small group).
* Background in care or a related field with experience in de‑escalation.
* Enhanced DBS check and other safeguarding checks required.
* Strong communication and positive approach to teaching and learning.
Employment Details
Full time, start after Easter, potentially continuing through the rest of the academic year.
