Redhill Primary Academy
Required: September 2025
Permanent

Salary: £20,543 per annum

Days/Hours of work: Monday – Friday 8.45am – 4.30pm (half hour lunch)
36.25 hours Term Time + 5 PD days

Redhill Primary Academy joined the Thomas Telford Multi Academy Trust in September 2018. The TTMAT has a proven track record of excellence and is at the forefront on educational developments nationally. In June 2024, Redhill Primary Academy was awarded Ofsted’s highest accolade, after being rated Outstanding in all areas of the inspection framework, stating that all pupils thrive both academically as well as personally and socially.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, efficient, and enthusiastic Office Administrator to join our admin team at Redhill Primary Academy.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, professional, and respectful, with a strong commitment to building positive relationships with children, parents, governors, staff, and visitors. This is a fast-paced and varied role that demands excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

While experience in a school setting is advantageous, we also welcome applicants with strong administrative backgrounds from other sectors.

The successful candidate will need to be adaptable, proactive, and capable of responding calmly and efficiently to the changing needs of a busy school office. A flexible approach is essential to support the smooth day-to-day running of the school.

This post is a designated customer facing role under the fluency duty and requires a specified level of spoken English as stated in the person specification.

Redhill Primary Academy is committed to safeguarding children and young people. All successful candidates are subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check with barred list (for regulated activity posts) as well as other pre-appointment checks outlined in Keeping Children Safe in Education (September 2024), such as an online check, suitable references, ID checks, and proof of qualifications (where appropriate). This post also requires checks under the Childcare Disqualification Regulations and Childcare Act 2006, which includes a criminal record self-disclosure form to be completed and returned prior to interview.
