This is a rewarding opportunity to provide stability, safety and reassurance to children and young people who rely on consistent and compassionate care.This is a part time position for 21 hours per week offering a salary of £28132 Pro Rata with enhanced rates for any over time worked. You will receive your rota well in advance and are guaranteed 2 weekends off out of 4. Opportunities for additional daytime shifts may be offered to support training and integrated working across the home.Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing a warm, caring and enabling environment
* Discreetly overseeing young people at regular intervals throughout the night
* Ensuring the home remains safe and secure
* Liaising with agencies such as Police and social care if required
* Completing paperwork and maintaining children’s records
* General housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry and ironing
* Following shift plans and completing allocated tasks
* Working independently, with the support of a sleeping-in colleague

* Ability to work independently and use initiative
* Flexibility to cover additional shifts where required
