Renacres Hospital, part of the Ramsay Health Care Group, is looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team.
The Role
Reporting to the Catering Supervisor, you will provide a high standard of catering service as part of the support services team. Experience is not essential as we will provide all necessary training, although prior experience in a fast-paced environment to high standards will be beneficial. If you possess excellent communication and customer service skills and are seeking a challenge, this role offers opportunities for development. Be versatile and willing to take on additional challenges as you grow into this key position.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Obtain food and beverage orders from patients, staff, and visitors.
2. Assist in the preparation and service of food to patients, staff, and visitors.
3. Clean all areas of the catering department daily to the standard agreed upon.
4. Understand and adhere to current health and hygiene regulations in food preparation and service.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Possess Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate for Catering (company-funded training if not already held).
* A positive attitude and willingness to work with a team to achieve goals and excellence in service.
* Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Friendly, outgoing personality.
* Keen eye for detail and attention to detail.
