Job description Job responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Undertake a range of clinical tasks including phlebotomy, ECG, bladder scanning, application of casts, and vital sign measurements. Support registered professionals in patient preparation, recovery, and assisting during clinical procedures. Provide practical support and guidance to patients to help improve their health and encourage healthier lifestyles. Re-stock clinical areas, assist with administrative duties, and ensure diagnostic requests are expedited. Participate in health promotion activities and primary prevention initiatives. Maintain confidentiality in line with Caldicott requirements and ensure patient privacy and dignity at all times. Provide support and encouragement to patients in self-managing their conditions. Work collaboratively with the MDT, attend team huddles, and ensure that high standards of patient care are met. Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills. Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team. The team is made up of a mixed MDT including GP,s Advanced Practitioners, Nurses and Urgent Care Technicians. The team is also supported by the Non Clinical team. They all work together to create a positive and rewarding workplace environment for colleagues delivering a high-quality experience for patients.
