This unrivalled overview and connectivity enable us to be a trusted guide through a complex global landscape of research, development, and innovation.\n\nOverview:\nReporting to the Partnership, PR and Communications Lead this role will support Reach & Engagement in creating, managing, and analysing social media content for all our system channels. \n\nThis role provides a valuable opportunity to develop digital marketing skills and gain hands-on experience in a fast-moving public sector environment, contributing to impactful campaigns that engage diverse audiences and promote Innovate UK Business Connectâs initiatives and services.\n\nSalary: £23,000 per annum\n\nWorking hours: 37.5 hours per week, 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch\n\nBenefits:\nThis role provides a valuable opportunity to develop digital marketing skills and gain hands-on experience in a fast-moving public sector environment, contributing to impactful campaigns that engage diverse audiences and promote Innovate UK Business Connectâs initiatives and services\n\nFuture prospects:\nUpon successful completion of your apprenticeship, there may be opportunity to grow and progress within the organisation. \n â¢\tAssist in the development and execution of social media campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.\nâ¢\tAssist in the creation of engaging content, including posts, graphics, videos, and stories, that align with our goals and target audiences.\nâ¢\tMonitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers in a professional and consistent manner.\nâ¢\tTrack, analyse, and report on social media performance using analytics tools, identifying key metrics and areas for improvement.\nâ¢\tSupport the wider Reach & Engagement team with administrative tasks, including scheduling social posts, maintaining social media calendars, and support the curation of a content library.\nâ¢\tCollaborate with different teams to gather relevant information and develop content that highlights the organisation's achievements, events, and services.\nâ¢\tAssist with delivering paid social media campaigns and advertising as required.\n Desirable skills:\nâ¢\tEducation, internship, or volunteering work in a communications or marketing environment.\nâ¢\tBasic understanding of social media analytics tools e.g. LinkedIn Analytics and how to interpret data to improve performance.\nâ¢\tKnowledge of paid social media advertising and campaign management.\nâ¢\tExperience of content scheduling tools such as Hootsuite.\nâ¢\tAn interest or background in public sector communications or community engagement.\nâ¢\tAttention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.\nâ¢\tAbility to work well both independently and as part of a team, showing flexibility and a willingness to learn.\nâ¢\tA proactive and creative approach to tasks, demonstrating enthusiasm for generating and developing new ideas.\nâ¢\tGood written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messages for different audiences.\nâ¢\tMicrosoft Office skills in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.\n\nIn addition, the following experience would be beneficial:\nâ¢\tBasic knowledge of major social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok Instagram).\nâ¢\tSome administration experience OR criteria agreed with Apprenticeship provider.\nâ¢\tExperience of building effective relationships.\n\nImportant information:\nThis vocational apprenticeship comprehensively supports your specific job role with this particular employer.
