We are the internal recruitment partner for our client, a global organisation offering excellence in manufacturing solutions for the aerospace market.

 We’re on a mission to deliver excellence and we need a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to help us ensure our products meet the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
 1. Verifying the conformity of aerospace parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies to engineering drawings and customer requirements
 2. Completing detailed and traceable inspection records
 3. Supporting production teams with batch verifications and first-off inspections
 4. Compiling First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)
 5. Performing inspections throughout the manufacturing and supply chain process
 6. Reporting and escalating non-conformances, and supporting root cause investigations
 7. Actively participating in Continuous Improvement and New Product Introduction meetings
Requirements
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
 8. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
 9. Solid experience in inspecting precision components
 10. Familiarity with inspection tools, CMM equipment, and industry measurement techniques
 11. Experience in aerospace or pharmaceutical environments preferred
 12. Strong communication and organisational skills
 13. Confidence to challenge and escalate quality issues
 14. HND or equivalent qualification, with a good grasp of imperial and metric systems would be desirable.
Benefits
In return we are offering:
 15. A competitive basic salary of £32,000 - £40,000 dependent on knowledge and experience plus an enhanced shift premium.
 16. 39 hours worked over 4 days (5:00 pm – 3:15 am), additional shift premium paid at time and one-third for hours worked between 6:00 pm and 3:15 am.
 17. 23 days holiday pro rata increasing to 26 days after 5 years’ service, plus bank holidays.
