The Senior Product Development Technologist will lead new product development and CCI initiatives in the SEA region, focusing on coating systems and seasonings technology. Responsibilities include:
* Interfacing with customer innovation teams, developing new flavors and ingredients, supporting new product development, improving product quality, and optimizing costs through CCI (Comprehensive Continuous Improvement) programs and DTV (Design to Value) principles for the Flavour solutions and Consumer Segment.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead CCI R&D product, process, and packaging initiatives by collaborating within the R&D team, cross-functional teams, and CCI lead in SEA.
2. Lead new product development on coating systems and seasonings technology applying design to value principles and a right-the-first-time mindset.
3. Support quality improvements of existing products, new supplier and raw material qualifications, and specification development.
4. Ensure project management is in place for all projects by defining and assessing project requirements, designing, and managing product development timelines.
5. Support the flavor solutions commercial team on all product co-creation and customer requests.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
* Education and Discipline: BSc in Food Science/Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
* Minimum Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
* Certifications and/or Licenses: Food Handling and Food Safety Certification.
* Other Skills & Competencies: Problem Solving: Interpret data, solve complex problems with incomplete information, manage risk in critical decisions. Collaboration: Project management, interaction, seeking advice, teaching, influencing, negotiating across the organization. Communication: Good written and verbal skills, excellent computer skills, ability to present technical topics and R&D capabilities.
