What does the disability assessor role involve?
A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You’ll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. What is on offer as a disability assessor?
- Excellent starting salary at £39,500pa
- Monday to Friday working hours
- Full time and part time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week available)
- Truro based when needing to work in the office (minimum of 1 day per week)

An NMC registered xkybehq nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist with 1 year’s or more broad post-registration experience
• Competent IT and computer skills
• Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health
