Abatec Recruitment are looking for a practical and reliable Wood Case Assembler to join our production team. This hands-on role involves the assembly of custom wooden cases, requiring accuracy, care, and a solid understanding of basic construction principles.

Assembly OperativeKey Responsibilities:
Assembly of wooden cases to specified dimensions and drawings
Accurate measuring, cutting, and fitting of wood components
Use of hand and power tools safely and effectively
Working from technical drawings and build instructions
Ensuring all cases are built to a high standard of quality and durability
Assembly OperativeRequirements:
Experience in carpentry or woodwork is highly preferred
Strong DIY skills considered as a minimum requirement
Competent with tape measures, squares, and other measuring tools
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team
