The Advocate Group are currently supporting a leading FMCG business on this newly created Consumer Insights Manager position. This role will drive the understanding of consumer behaviour, identify growth opportunities, and influence brand, innovation, and commercial strategy.
The Role
Reporting to the Insights Director, you will act as the business’s insight specialist - turning data into clear, actionable direction. You will manage all consumer research, oversee agency partners, and ensure insight is at the heart of decision-making across marketing and innovation teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead consumer and market insight across the region, translating trends and data into commercially relevant recommendations.
* Manage continuous and ad hoc research programmes, including agency selection and performance oversight.
* Collaborate with marketing, commercial, and R&D teams to embed consumer-centric thinking into brand plans and innovation pipelines.
* Provide competitor, category, and trend intelligence to inform strategy.
* Maintain and develop insight tools, processes, and frameworks to improve decision-making.
