About the opportunity
Many within the team have developed their career in role, starting in graduate positions and progressing through the grades towards becoming principal physicists.
Whilst we are open to early career physicists for this role. Key skills required:
1. Knowledge of reactor technologies and experience of undertaking physics assessments for civil nuclear power technologies
2. Familiar with nuclear safety assessments and safety case construction
3. Ability to assimilate, analyse and provide judgements on complex technical issues clearly and concisely
4. Good consultancy skills, eg, good communication, teamwork, be adaptable to client requirements and time management skills
5. Experience within an engineering consultancy environment or nuclear sector is advantageous

6. Nuclear masters and PhDs preferred or Degree or Post Graduate qualification in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline
