Customer Service Assistant - Harwich International Port
We are on the lookout for a professional, welcoming, and experienced Customer Service Assistant to join our team. This is a part time role working mornings, evenings and weekends. The morning hours are 06:00-09:00 and the evening shifts could vary between 18:30-23:00, 19:00-22:00, 19:30-23:00.
Pay rate is £12.80 per hour.
You will perform the below duties:
1. To be professional and courteous at all times.
2. To meet and greet passengers in all areas.
3. Check tickets/passes for entry to restricted areas.
4. Attend the escalators and prevent misuse.
5. Assist passengers with luggage etc.
6. Help disabled passengers with wheelchairs and also electric wheelchairs.
7. Move baggage trolleys to areas and gangways.
8. Assisting with help and information at the car parking areas.
9. Communicate with other port employees and customers with the use of a hand held radio.
10. Working with customer agents.
11. Take on reception duties when appropriate.
12. Direct traffic to appropriate car or coach lanes.
13. Present cars to immigration in the car hall area.
