We are now seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and work in a school's enhanced provision with primary-aged children. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support to primary-aged children with special educational needs in the school's enhanced provision class Assist the class teacher in implementing individualised education plans and behaviour management strategies Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all children feel supported and valued Help children to develop academic and social skills through tailored interventions and activities Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the holistic development of each child Requirements: Previous experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly in a primary school setting Knowledge of various additional needs and strategies for supporting students with diverse needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children achieve their goals If this sounds like something you would be interested in, please get in touch We would love to hear from you All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role as well as the Right to Work in the UK.
