We are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative to join our growing team in Hook.
Responsibilities
* Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring the receipt, order assembly, and dispatch of goods
* Sign for goods received into the warehouse, update the stock system, and advise Campaign Managers of delivery
* Check and inspect goods received, ensuring accurate quantity, type, and acceptable quality
* Produce a work plan each day and prioritise tasks
* Liaise with Campaign Managers, Field Support Managers, Suppliers, and Transport Companies
* Contact courier companies to coordinate the dispatch and delivery of goods
* Load and unload goods from company and third‑party vehicles
* Organise elements to pick and pack and accurately update the stock system
* Operate company vehicles when necessary
* Produce delivery notes and consignment labels using third‑party portals
* Support a clean, safe warehouse working environment for all staff to work in and remove hazardous products from the site in line with safety regulations
Qualifications
* Some previous experience working in a warehouse environment
* Understand material and stock management techniques and inventory control methods and procedures
* Able to lift and move boxes, heavy packages, and elements without difficulty and carry out tasks as directed
* Ability to work alone or co‑operatively within a team
* Experience following standard operating procedures and working methodically and tidily
* Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
* Good understanding of both the spoken and written English language
* Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, and other specialist stock tracking software – training will be provided)
* Understand Health & Safety regulations
* Honesty, reliability and an organised, methodical ‘can do’ approach
* Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends as business requires
* Forklift licence – Counterbalance or Reach truck
* Eligibility to live and work in the UK
* NVQ in Warehousing and Storage (desirable)
* Full Driving Licence (desirable)
