Job Title: Nurse Specialist CAMHS
Location: West Lothian Out-Patient Team, St. John’s Hospital Livingston.
Hours: 26 hours per week
Fixed term (6 months) Band 6
Salary: £39,912 - £48,635 per annum (pro rata)

About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and forward-thinking registered mental health or learning disability nurse to contribute to our vision of “Getting it right for every child” and young person with mental health problems and neurodevelopmental disorders. The role involves assessing and treating a range of mental health presentations such as eating disorders, mood, psychotic disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders. There are excellent opportunities for career development through our nursing clinical pathways.
Post holders new to CAMHS will have the opportunity to undertake the NES “New to CAMHS” training over a 12-month period. NHS Lothian CAMHS provides internal and external training events for clinicians.

This post requires PVG Scheme membership/record. If not current, an application must be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before starting.
