Azure DevOps Engineer – 6 Month Contract – Hybrid / Leicester – Outside IR35
VIQU have partnered with a leading organisation who are seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer to support during a key digital transformation programme.
The Role
The successful Azure DevOps Engineer will support a large-scale cloud transformation programme, working with cross-functional teams to drive the build, deployment, and optimisation of Azure-based infrastructure.
Key Technical Skills & Experience :
* Strong experience working within Azure DevOps (ADO)
* Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) – Terraform
* Automation and scripting skills – PowerShell
* Proven background in Azure cloud infrastructure design and build
* Experience designing and implementing new environments from scratch (not just maintaining existing systems)
* Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release management
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills — ability to collaborate across distributed teams
* Exposure to GitHub and GitHub Actions would be advantageous
* Kubernetes / AKS exposure desirable but not essential

* Job role: Azure DevOps Engineer
* Job type: Contract
* Duration: 6 months' initial contract
* Rate: £400 - £435 per day
* IR35 status: Outside IR35 pending SDS Report
* Location: Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite in Leicester
