Enclosure Equipment technician BasildonMonday-Friday hours per week.We are looking to appoint an Enclosure Assembly Technician to assist in the machining, manufacturing and build-up of enclosures, equipment and machinery on our factory floor.The enclosure assembly role is varied and requires machining, fitting, assembly and fault-finding skills. Keen attention to detail and careful handling of the specialist materials is essential. Ability to maintain focus and care when actioning the tasks of higher repetition will be essential.Some of the typical duties are as follows: -
1. Preparation of base materials, machining and lock assembly.
2. Assembling frameworks and fitting to machinery lines.
3. Dis-assembly of tested lines and preparation of items ready for transport and assembly at customers sites
4. Small amount of pneumatic assembly
5. Assembly,missioning, support and service work at customers’ sites
The candidate will need to have the following skills/attributes: -
6. Good basic engineering skills
7. Able to interpret equipment assembly drawings and maintain the high-quality finish and output levels expected by our customers.
8. Proven teamworking, attention to detail and good problem solver
9. Practical engineering experience, particularly in mechanical assembly and machining
10. Able to operate within the requirements of good health and safety discipline.
11. Recognised Engineering certification/apprenticeship
