As Senior Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring materials and components are available in line with production requirements through effective demand planning, forecasting, and inbound scheduling. As the Materials Planner, you will be getting involved in:
* Develop accurate demand forecasts to drive material planning and support production schedules
* Generate and manage supply plans, ensuring on-time availability of inbound materials and components
* Collaborate with procurement and supplier teams to mitigate risks and resolve delivery issues
* Translate production requirements into clear, time-phased material schedules
* Optimise inventory levels to balance availability, production needs, and working capital targets
* Support the introduction of new products and engineering changes with robust planning
* Drive improvements in planning accuracy, scheduling efficiency, and supply reliability
* Monitor planning KPIs and provide data-led insights to improve decision-making
We are looking for someone with the following experience:
* Proven experience in a planning, forecasting, or scheduling role within a manufacturing environment
* Previous experience in similar roles such as Supply Chain Planner / Supply Chain Coordinator / Materials Planner / Materials Manager / Materials Planning Lead / Supply Planner / Demand Planner / Supply Chain Coordinator / Materials Scheduler
* Strong understanding of demand planning, MRP/ERP systems, and material scheduling
* Track record of improving forecast accuracy and aligning planning with production performance
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to work cross-functionally with procurement, operations, and engineering teams
