To work with Children Looked After in a long term team, post Final Hearing. Supporting children and young people in foster care, residential care or semi independence.
You will hold up to 17 children and work as part of a Unit made up of a Consultant Social Worker (manager), 3 social workers and an administrator.
To work in a trauma informed way to promote placement stability; as well as applying systemic principles to be child focused, inclusive and to always take the wider context into consideration.
In Hackney we have in-house clinical services and a multidisciplinary virtual school to ensure children's needs are met.
