Your responsibilities
will include:
* Managing the day-to-day running of the care
unit, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care.
* Leading, motivating, and supporting a care team.
* Ensuring care plans and documentation are
accurate, up to date, and reflect residents’ needs.
* Monitoring staffing levels, overseeing rotas,
and supporting effective shift management.
* Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations,
policies, and procedures.
* Acting as a role model and promoting best
practice across the unit.
* Supporting recruitment, induction, appraisal,
and staff development.
* Working closely with senior management,
families, and external professionals.
About You:
* Proven experience in a senior care role (Unit
Manager, Senior Nurse, Senior Carer, or similar).
* A recognised care or nursing qualification (NVQ
Level 3/4/5 in Health and Social Care or NMC registration, desirable).
* Strong leadership and organisational skills.
* A caring, professional approach with a passion
for quality care.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage priorities, support staff, and
maintain high standards under pressure.
