Overview
We’re looking for an As and When Chef to join our team in Cardiff and the Vale Hospice. We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Chef to join the Facilities team at the Marie Curie Hospice. This role is central to delivering high-quality, nutritious meals for patients, staff, volunteers, and visitors, while ensuring food safety, hygiene, and a caring service environment.
Salary
Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 3 (aligned with AFC) £25,313 - £26,999 per annum + enhancements

What we’re looking for
* Excellent cooking skills and the ability to plan and prepare varied menus.
* Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with a caring and flexible approach.
* Experience in catering and supervising staff, ideally within a healthcare setting.
* Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety standards.
* Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds 706/1 & 706/2 or NVQ Level 2 in Food Production and Cooking.
