Merchandising Supervisor
* £13.30 per hour, rising to £13.84 per hour
We take pride in our shop floor – it’s where our products are styled, displayed, and brought to life for our customers. From creating eye-catching displays to running campaigns and ensuring shelves are stocked with desirable products, this is where it all happens.
You’ll be a visual merchandiser and leader, responsible for bringing the space to life. You’ll lead a passionate team, maintain high standards, and create a shopping experience that customers love and colleagues are proud of. It’s a fast-paced, hands-on role requiring energy and focus. The reward comes when sales climb and everything comes together.
We’re looking for someone with an eye for detail, a love of good design, and the drive to keep things moving. If you know how to make a space welcoming, understand what sells, and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves, we’d love to hear from you.
* Promote a culture of upselling by coaching the team to guide customers to products they’ll love, boosting impulse buys and basket sizes.
* Maintain high energy levels by building team spirit, celebrating wins, and being a positive influence.
* Have a clear plan for each day so everyone understands their tasks and their importance.
* Check in with your team through wellbeing 1-on-1’s, progress reviews, and career discussions, supporting our store succession plan.
* Support the Leadership Team in executing the Engagement Action Plan.
* Take ownership by understanding the 'why' behind initiatives and leading your team accordingly.
* Spend time on the shop floor daily with your Store Coach to spot wins, resolve issues, and ensure smooth operations.
* Grow your team by coaching and mentoring, always looking for future leaders.
The Store Operations Coach is responsible for creating an enjoyable shopping experience by maintaining high standards, ensuring excellent product availability, and executing recovery processes effectively.
They lead the team to implement merchandising and campaigns accurately the first time, maximising sales and maintaining an engaging shop floor.
With a focus on friendly service and seamless shopping, they bring value and joy to colleagues and customers. Acting as an owner, they inspire and support their team to maximise sales, and drive strong delivery and recovery processes.
