About the Role
We’re looking for a creative and proactive Multimedia Content Officer to join our Communications team. You’ll lead on producing engaging digital content across our platforms, from social media and our website to campaigns and events.
You’ll help shape how we connect with audiences, grow our reach, and ensure our content is innovative, accessible, bilingual, and aligned with our brand. You’ll also support the development and evaluation of our Social Media Strategy.

You’ll have experience managing social media channels and creating high-quality multimedia content, from videos and graphics to bilingual posts. You’ll be confident using analytics to inform strategy and understand accessibility and digital best practices.

We work in both English and Welsh. Fluency in Welsh (both written and spoken) is essential for this post. You will need to be able to communicate in both English and Welsh in meetings, individually, and in public.
We are looking for an individual who understands the culture of Wales, the diverse relationship of the people of Wales with the Welsh language, and who is committed to ensuring a progressive use of Welsh linguistically and culturally within the Arts Council and the wider sector.

The Arts Council of Wales is an inclusive employer, and we wish to reflect the diverse communities we serve. Applications from culturally and ethnically diverse people and underrepresented groups are encouraged and warmly welcomed. Applications are welcomed in Welsh or English, and we will correspond with you in your language of choice. Applications submitted in Welsh will be treated no less favourably than applications submitted in English. We aim to take positive steps to ensure that all candidates are selected for jobs solely on their suitability for the role.
The Arts Council will provide support to ensure that you feel comfortable joining the organisation, the type of which may be new or unfamiliar to you, so that you can feel your best self at work. Mentoring or training will also be provided during the induction period, if required.
Disability Confident Scheme
Arts Council of Wales is a Disability Confident employer, committed to interviewing all disabled applicants who meet all the essential criteria set out in the person specification.

In supporting our employees to achieve a balance between their work and their personal lives, we will also consider proposals for flexible working or job share arrangements.
Please clearly state your proposal for working anything other than the advertised hours in your covering email upon submitting your application.
How to Apply
Please complete the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Monitoring Form via the Microsoft Forms link that can be found in the application form.
