About The Role:
Working Days:4 over 7 days -8am- 17:30pm. Alternate weekends with weekend enhancements in pay.
Join our team as a Chef Manager and take charge of delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards. In this role, you will lead and develop your team to achieve the highest standards with a positive team spirit, ensuring excellent service, staff appearance, and attitude throughout the day. You will comply with all client, company, and legal requirements, including health and safety regulations, and manage budgets for staff, products, and materials. Additionally, you will oversee cash controls and conduct accurate stock takes.
As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limitedto:
* To manage and develop the Human Resources, to be able to achieve the highest standard of work, with a positive team spirit. To maintain high standards throughout the day in terms of service, staff appearance and attitude.
* To comply at all times with client, company and legal requirements such as health and safety, ensuring the display of notices, first aid and accident reporting.
* To control the budgets for staff, products and materials
* Cash controls.
* Accurate stock takes.
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
* Must have Right to Work in the UK.
* An enhanced DBS will be completed for the successful candidate.
* Membership of the Institute of Hospitality - IOH (or eligibility) or HCA (or eligibility)
* Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate and Advanced
* Health & Safety Certificate (Basic) and IOSH
* City & Guilds 706 (Hospitality and Catering) 1 & 2 or equivalent - desirable
* Catering Management experience (preferably within a healthcare environment), including a proven record of excellent budgetary control and P&L management.
