My Client based BT9 area of Belfast requires a Part-time Administrative Officer/ Medical Receptionist. This is a temporary post with the view to becoming permanent. Main Duties/Responsibilities General reception duties - greeting patients in person and on telephone, making, cancelling appointments, providing information regarding practice services Maintaining and updating files both computerised and manual. Typing letters, memos referrals, and confidential reports. Sorting and distribution of post Collect and collate data as and when required. Liaise with other disciplines, outsides agencies and departments, in a helpful and professional manner. Essential Criteria 4 GCSE’s including English & Maths (Grade A-C) Previous experience in a similar role (to include telephone & face to face contact) Fully computer literate Evidence of working in a team & on own initiative Excellent communication & organisational skills Flexibility to cover sickness & holidays Desirable Criteria Previous NHS Experience Hours 16-18 per week, must be available Wed 8.30am - 1pm, Thurs & Fri between 8.30am - 6pm, these days/ hours to be discussed at interview Salary £12.21 per hour increase to £12.71 beginning April 2026 Close to City Hospital train station To apply for the above vacancy please forward your CV via the link below or contact our office
