Monarch Education is seeking a motivated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in Daventry. We are looking for a dedicated HLTA with a strong background in classroom support to take on a leadership role within the school. The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of a Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) and have relevant experience working with primary-aged children. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support small group and whole-class activities under the direction of teaching staff Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development Assist with planning and delivering lessons and learning activities Support pupils with additional needs, including those with SEND, ensuring inclusive practice Monitor and record pupils' progress and behaviour Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive environment Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to support pupils' learning Candidate Requirements: Minimum Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) Proven experience working as a TA or HLTA in a primary school setting Knowledge of the national curriculum and how to adapt activities to meet diverse needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage behaviour effectively and build positive relationships with pupils Flexible, proactive, and committed to supporting pupils' development If you are enthusiastic about helping children achieve their best and meet the above criteria, we would love to hear from you.
