The Role: Pastoral Support Worker, Blackpool
As a Pastoral Support Worker, you will be a key point of contact for students who need emotional, social, or behavioural support. You'll work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to help students overcome barriers to learning and thrive in their school life. .
Key responsibilities include:
Student Support: Providing one-on-one and group support to students experiencing difficulties.
Behaviour Management: Assisting in the implementation of the school's behaviour policy and providing restorative conversations.
Liaison: Acting as a link between students, staff, parents, and external support services.
Attendance: Monitoring and addressing issues related to student attendance and punctuality.
Safeguarding: Playing a key role in the school's safeguarding and child protection procedures.
