As a Lead PM&C Professioanl, you'll manage the full spectrum of Project Monitoring, Planning and Cost Control across various projects and programmes:
Take ownership of project reporting, scheduling, cost analysis and risk management Lead a small high-performing team (up to 5 professionals) Drive best practices in both traditional and agile project control methodologies Influence internal stakeholders and support PMs across the full project lifecycle Identify, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project. Applies appropriate PM&C methods and tools whether predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches. Agrees PM&C approach with stakeholders, and prepares realistic plans (including quality, risk and communications plans) and tracks activities against the project schedule, managing stakeholder involvement as appropriate. Consolidate expertise from multiple sources, including third party experts, to provide coherent advice to further organisational objectives. Supports and promotes the development and sharing of specialist knowledge within the organisation. Deliver measurable value with minimal guidance, working at the heart of a critical programme
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifcations:
Proven experience in
project planning, cost engineering, and performance control
Deep knowledge of
PM&C tools
(e.g. MS Project, Primavera, cost systems)
Confidence in managing
project risks, benefits, and reporting
across complex environments
A
PM qualification
(e.g. APM PMQ) and a track record of hands-on delivery
Strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills
High attention to detail with the ability to coach junior staff and shape processes
