Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Within 1 hour of CV23 (Hybrid/Flexible working considered)
Salary: £35,000
£50,000 DOE (Freelance or PAYE options available)
Job Type: Permanent or Freelance About the Role: Were working on behalf of a well-established and growing contractor who are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join the team. Ideally, youll have experience in groundworks or fencing, but were open to candidates from other backgrounds too, especially those currently in an Assistant QS role looking to take the next step. Unfortunately candidates seeking Sponsorship will not be considered at this time. This package will be tailored based on experience. Key Responsibilities: Carry out take-offs and material measures from drawings Price Bills of Quantities and check accuracy Prepare and price project variations as they arise on site Submit monthly applications for works completed Produce and return tender submissions, liaising with internal teams Attend client meetings (pre-starts, application reviews, final accounts) Communicate with clients commercial departments regularly Forecast commercial performance and monitor project cash flow Provide internal commercial reports and updates to senior staff Review and agree rates with clients Track and chase outstanding payments What We're Looking For: Experience in groundworks or fencing is ideal Based within 1 hour of CV23 Strong commercial understanding and attention to detail Confident communicator
