Project Manager/Design Manager for Social & Community Housing Projects
About the Company: Respected community & social enterprise organization who are specialists in RetroFit looking to hire a new Project/Design Manager. You will lead, design and coordinate retrofit projects in the Social Housing sector, whilst working closely with clients to procure and manage project teams, providing continuity throughout the project process - completion and handover.
Skills & Qualifications:
* ARB registered or equivalent with 5 years’ experience post qualification.
* Demonstrable UK experience in leading construction projects through to completion.
* Experience in leadership of multi-disciplinary teams with confidence in working collaboratively with peers, delivery partners, stakeholders and clients.
* Strong people and project/design management skills, ability to communicate professionally and adapt to different audiences.
* Up to date knowledge of traditional and modern construction techniques with experience in compiling Employers’ Requirements and administrating contracts.
* Applied knowledge of UK Building Regulations, Building Safety Act and statutory approvals.
* Applied understanding of various contracts, procurement routes and supply chain.
