The Opportunity:
Search are supporting the recruitment of a Part-Time Finance Manager (2.5 - 3 days) to join our client's team in Edinburgh. Reporting to the Chief Executive, you'll play a vital part in shaping the organisation's financial strategy, ensuring compliance, and supporting the delivery of impactful community services.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Leading financial management, reporting, and controls across the organisation
* Preparing annual budgets, forecasts, quarterly management accounts, and cashflow reports
* Overseeing financial recordkeeping and managing the annual audit process
* Managing payroll and pensions in coordination with an external provider
* Ensuring compliance with grant and contract reporting requirements
* Acting as Company Secretary and supporting the Board of Trustees
* Overseeing HR, IT, procurement, and facilities management
* Supporting policy development and implementation, including data protection and health & safety
* Line managing and developing the Finance Assistant
Skills and experience that will benefit your application:
* Experience with charity accounting
* Strong analytical and financial reporting skills
* Ability to communicate financial information to a range of stakeholders
* Experience improving systems and processes
* Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills

* Experience managing or supervising staff
* Knowledge of HR policy and practice
* Familiarity with accounting software
* Experience leading projects
