Event Coordinator and Administrator – Contractor
We are seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative events coordinator and administrator to oversee the year-round program of events throughout the site. This job is suitable for someone who enjoys high levels of detail and organisation, and who can keep on top of a busy and varied schedule of events across the site. A keen eye for detail and an ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders is crucial to succeeding in this role.
Main Responsibilities:
* Liaise with internal and external teams to manage all event preparations and operations, ensuring events accomplish successfully with business goals;
* Communicate with external guests to ensure the details of talks, travel and reimbursement are confirmed;
* Organise office events such as coffee breaks, summer parties and Christmas celebrations;
* Manage site operations and day-to-day functions to ensure the office site runs smoothly, efficiently and in compliance with company policies;
* Provide administrative support to staff and management including handling correspondence, scheduling meetings and managing inventory;
* Maintain a well-organised and efficient office environment by managing office supplies and placing orders as necessary;
* Support business teams by handling ad hoc requests and urgent cases as required.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Well-organised with strong multi-tasking skills;
* Able to communicate effectively and solve problems;
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
* Good working knowledge of MS Office software;
* Proficient in speaking and written English is essential.
