SDET - Playwright/Typescript - sought by leading trading firm based in London - Contract - Hybrid
Responsibilities
* Test Automation: Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright to ensure high-quality product delivery.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless, bug-free software.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for optimization and improvement in the testing processes and frameworks.
* End-to-End Testing: Drive comprehensive end-to-end testing for our web-based applications and trading platforms.
Qualifications
* Playwright Experience: Strong experience with Playwright for test automation, and familiarity with modern web technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
* SDET Expertise: Proficiency in writing automated tests for web and mobile applications, with a solid understanding of testing methodologies.
* Commodity Trading Knowledge: An understanding of the commodity trading industry is a plus, as it will enable you to grasp the domain-specific requirements quickly.
* Technical Skills: Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools, and Agile methodologies.
* Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues and troubleshoot effectively.
