The role
Pottery Assistant (fixed-term)
Whinfell Forest | £12.87 per hour
Help guests paint, unwind and shine
Join our vibrant Pottery Studio team, delivering creative ceramic painting sessions for adults and children. You'll provide expert guidance, ensure a safe and welcoming environment and deliver exceptional customer service that exceeds guest expectations.
What you'll be doing
Manage glazing processes and meet agreed timescales for finished pieces
Ensure high standards of cleanliness and studio tidiness at all times
Guide and support guests during ceramic painting activities

Please note this is a fixed-term contract until 27th August 2026
Part-time contract, with shifts falling between 8am and 6pm
You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 96 hours over a 4‑week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
This role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays
About you
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and guests
Strong communication skills
Naturally cheerful disposition
Note: You'll need to complete a DBS check before starting (we'll help with that).
