About the role….
We are seeking to appoint a full-time Senior Public Health Intelligence Analyst who can apply highly developed skills in epidemiology and statistical analysis to help us take forward our ambitions and support our residents. You must hold a relevant Degree or post graduate Degree in either Public Health or a related field. You must be able to evidence the application of health analysis and statistical methods in tackling complex population level health issues and have an understanding of the role and purpose of Public Health in local government. The role involves:
Leadership: Providing clear and visible leadership acting as an expert in Public Health Intelligence to further the strategic aims and values of the Council.
Collaboration: Working with partners at across the health and social care system
Research and Intelligence: Being an expert in health intelligence and an advocate for evidence based decision making and embedding the use of local, regional and national research evidence into practice.
Workforce Development: Managing and developing the Public Health Intelligence team, ensuring effective day-to-day advice, guidance and support.

* You'll be paid a competitive salary £45,091 - £48,226 pa
