Throughout the UK the Group employs over 400 staff including pharmacists, skilled technicians, HR, IT, procurement, warehouse, and customer services staff. Wholesale and Warehouse Our Wholesale & Warehouse department manages all aspects of storage and stock management, as well as incoming and outgoing deliveries. We are looking to add a Warehouse Supervisor to this busy and fast paced team. As a Warehouse Supervisor your responsibilities will include, although are not limited to: • Overseeing receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments • Assigning workloads and daily tasks to Warehouse operatives • Communicating internally/externally to orders status and troubleshoot problems • Monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy • Ensuring inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained • Monitoring Warehouse Associates to ensure safety procedures are being followed when operating forklifts and other machinery As with all Group employees, you'll also be asked to: Ensure the work you do is of a high standard and that Group procedures and policies are followed. Skills and Attributes Required Experience operating in a similar role is desirable. Previous Warehouse Management System knowledge and understanding Good Communication/troubleshooting Skills Experience using MS Business Central advantageous. Forklift License is preferred although not essential. Training will be provided. Previous experience working n a pharmaceutical or fast paced distribution environment.
