Position Overview:
As a vital member of the Finance department, you'll report directly to the Ledger Team Leader, ensuring seamless accounts payable operations and meticulous financial transaction processing. Your role will encompass the timely reconciliation of crucial accounts, including meticulous month-end closures.
Responsibilities:
1. Generate insightful daily reports and conduct thorough analysis
2. Efficiently manage incoming calls, redirecting them as necessary, and accurately recording messages
3. Foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
4. Proactively address and resolve aged issues, ensuring smooth operations
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve escalated supplier account matters
6. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across systems and processes
7. Exhibit effective time management skills to meet deadlines consistently
8. Ensure precise and timely processing of purchase ledger transactions across all expenditure streams
9. Manage paperwork diligently, correspondence, and supplier reports
10. Process a high volume of Purchase Invoices efficiently
11. Conduct payment runs in multiple currencies, maintaining accuracy throughout
12. Address supplier inquiries and payment requests courteously and efficiently
13. Perform detailed supplier statement reconciliations
14. Uphold the integrity and completeness of the Purchase Ledger through regular reviews
Requirements:
15. Proficiency in computerised systems and advanced Excel skills
16. Exceptional relationship-building abilities
17. Dedication to continuous improvement initiatives
18. Strong organisational and time-management proficiency
19. Confident and positive communication style
20. Possession of a valid driving license and reliable transportation
21. Familiarity with Self-Bill Invoices is advantageous, though not mandatory
