Job Description We are looking for a PFMEA Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Broughton to support a major aerospace manufacturing programme. The role focuses on assessing the impact of switching to alternative consumable products—such as paints, sealants, and adhesives—and ensuring these changes do not disrupt production. You will review processes, identify risks, and help strengthen the paint shop and related operations so production remains stable, efficient, and robust. Location: Broughton On Site: 3x on site Clearance: Not required Experience Level: Junior - Mid Key Responsibilities: Lead PFMEA sessions and produce high‑quality documentation aligned with internal standards. Analyse the operational implications of product substitutions and recommend mitigation actions. Interpret process flows to understand how material changes affect build sequence, takt time, and process robustness. Support updates to software and systems used within operational booths. Participate in shaping long‑term improvement plans for the paint shop and related processes. Provide input into business cases and NPR‑level submissions. Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and quality teams to ensure stable and efficient production processes.
