What will I be doing?
* Reporting to the HWRC Manager, supervising the daily site operations to ensure full compliance.
* Maintaining safety and environmental compliance in line with SUEZ Policies and Procedures.
* Prioritising tasks to supervise all aspects of operations and supplement staffing if necessary.
* Serving as a role model to promote recycling, safety culture, and operational efficiency.
* Ensuring weekly targets set by the HWRC Manager are met efficiently and within budget.
* Creating, managing, and controlling relevant operational documents.
* Meeting COTC requirements and completing records.
* Assisting in data collection, reporting on site performance, complaints, incidents, and training; analysing trends and identifying future needs.
* Deputising for the HWRC Manager when required, covering all responsibilities.
What are the requirements?
* Passion for recycling and strong communication skills.
* Experience in supervising and developing teams to meet high operational standards.
* Experience operating HWRCs and related requirements for maximum recycling.
* Relevant waste management qualification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
* Valid driving licence.
* Knowledge of safety and environmental policies, procedures, and regulations.
* Understanding of Key Performance Indicators.
