Key Responsibilities Guide and mentor a team of support workers, ensuring the delivery of exceptional, child-focused care. Act as a positive role model, fostering a safe and loving environment that promotes recovery, growth, and lasting change. Support children's daily needs, building trusting relationships to help them achieve their potential. Engage young people in meaningful activities, from sports to creative hobbies, to enhance their well-being. Maintain accurate records, including progress reports and care plans, to support high standards of care. Collaborate with the Registered Manager and professionals to deliver tailored therapeutic support. What We're Looking For Essential : Minimum of 12 months' experience in the care sector, ideally in children's residential settings. Essential : Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. Essential : Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (recognised with enhanced pay rates). Naturally caring, resilient, and flexible with a passion for supporting young people. Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire colleagues and engage with children. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
