Job Title: Asset CAFM Manager Location: DSTL, Salisbury (on-site) Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 Contract: Permanent, Full-time Security Clearance: SC (must be eligible) Overview We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Asset CAFM Manager to take ownership of the asset and planned maintenance database at a secure Ministry of Defence site in Salisbury. This is a hands-on role focused on managing the Maximo CAFM system to ensure asset information is accurate, compliant, and effectively supports maintenance delivery. Key Responsibilities Manage the Maximo CAFM system, ensuring all assets are correctly recorded, linked to SFG20 maintenance schedules, and maintained throughout their lifecycle. Oversee asset on-boarding and off-boarding, tracking changes through an auditable process. Produce 52-week maintenance planners for operational teams and support accurate end-of-month reporting to the client. Collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors to validate and update asset data, ensuring compliance with contractual, technical, and legislative standards. Assist the Compliance Manager with updates arising from regulatory changes or contract amendments. Contribute to strategic asset planning, including the Forward Additional Services Plan (FASP), condition surveys, and lifecycle management. Identify and manage asset defects, validate service histories, and mitigate risks associated with asset failure. Maintain structured documentation to support audits and strategic decision-making. Person Specification Proven experience managing CAFM systems, ideally Maximo, in a hard FM, defence, or critical infrastructure environment. Technically competent, preferably with an M&E qualification or practical hard FM experience. Strong IT skills, confident managing complex asset and maintenance data. Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Excellent attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of statutory and mandatory maintenance compliance. Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
