Sellick Partnership is proud to assist a local authority in the Oxfordshire area in seeking an experienced Technical Support Team Leader to join its Development Management/ Planning division
This is a key leadership role responsible for managing a planning technical support function and ensuring the smooth, compliant and efficient operation of Development Management processes. The postholder will play a central role in team leadership, systems oversight and supporting complex planning workflows.
Key responsibilities of Technical Support Team Leader includes:
* Leading and managing a Development Management Technical Support Team of six direct reports, including Technical Support Assistants and Graduates
* Overseeing validation, registration and administration of planning applications
* Ensuring statutory compliance, data quality and accurate planning publications
* Supporting performance management, reporting and service improvements
* Acting as a senior technical point of contact within the planning service
* Contribute to planning system optimisation and digital improvements
