Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain a trusting and professional relationship with the people who use our services and act in a supportive and empathetic manner towards them.
* Display compassion and sensitivity to the people who use our services’ and next of kin needs.
* Contribute towards a harmonious and therapeutic environment.
* Support the people who use our services to manage their physical health, mental health and wellbeing through the development and implementation of an individual support plan.
* Identifies problems and issues and work with the people who use our services to provide the most appropriate solutions to promote wellbeing for all.
Skills and Qualifications
* To be able and willing to work waking nightshifts.
* Experience of supporting an individual with household tasks and/or providing emotional support.
* Knowledge and understanding of intellectual disability issues.
