Search are supporting the recruitment of a Senior Finance Manager to join our client’s East Lothian office. This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to shape financial strategy and operations within a high-performing, global organisation.
Within the role, you’ll lead our client’s finance function and play a key role in the senior management team. You’ll be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance and delivering strategic insights to support business growth. This includes managing audits, cash flow, risk and supporting business projects such as ERP implementation and integration of AI.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring efficient operations and task delegation
* Oversee monthly and year-end financial reporting with insightful analysis
* Manage internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial and VAT regulations
* Monitor cash flow and working capital, supporting liquidity and funding needs
* Identify and mitigate financial risks through robust internal controls
* Support business managers with performance insights and KPI tracking
* Contribute to strategic projects, including ERP upgrades and AI integration
Skills and experience you’ll ideally bring:
* Qualified Accountant or Qualified by Experience
* Demonstrable background in financial management, compliance and controls
* Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to engage internal and external stakeholders
* Proven leadership and team development experience
* Strategic thinker with strong planning and organisational abilities
* Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
