About the Stores Lead role: As our Stores Lead, you will be running the day-to-day operations at a customer site and will be their dedicated support. You will be assisted by and work closely with our External Sales staff. Our customer is a well-known, worldwide food manufacturer. You’ll need to be a confident communicator in dealing and managing the customer, being the face of Hayley on-site. A typical day would include assessing stock levels and providing technical support to the customer which may involve assisting with the identification of parts, answering queries, preparing quotes and processing orders on the customer CMS/ERP systems as well as our own. Working Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. Key responsibilities as our Stores Lead: Assist in raising orders for spare parts as required. Manage critical stock levels using the sites CMS system. Carry out daily/weekly stock checks to reflect the requirements of the Contract. Manage workshop consumables. Assist engineers in issuing spares required from the Stores. Add new items to stock as required, label products and stores racking to suit. Book in all deliveries on the required systems and put the spares away in the stores or allocated order collection points for engineers. Assist with site specific project work. What we're looking for in our Stores Lead: Experience within the MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) industry would be greatly beneficial. Experience working in stores management procurement would be ideal, however not essential. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals across various levels within the organisation is essential, as the role requires direct collaboration with the customer engineering team. Full driving licence is preferable. Customer-focused, driven to provide consistently high levels of service. Basic computer skills, including experience in using Microsoft Office.
