GSL Education are recruiting confident Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Selby.
About the School
Schools in the Selby area provide supportive environments where Cover Supervisors play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absence. Staff work collaboratively to ensure pupils remain engaged and focused during lessons.
Responsibilities
* Supervise classes during teacher absence
* Deliver pre prepared lesson materials
* Maintain positive classroom behaviour
* Ensure pupils remain on task with learning activities
* Report back to teaching staff on lesson progress
Requirements
* Degree or relevant education experience
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills
* Confidence managing a classroom environment
* Interest in education or teaching
